When looking for an alternative solution to full-time work, two work concepts often come to mind. One is freelancing. The other is part-time. Many may ask – what’s the difference between part-time and freelancing? You don’t need to report to the office everyday if you work as a freelancer and a part-timer. Therefore, both types of employment give you more free time. And neither job types give you full employment benefits.

Freelancing and part-time work may seem like a similar concept but they are more different than we assumed. One big difference is freelancing frees you from having to commute to and from an employer’s office every day while part-time employees still have to be in the office on the days they are working. Freelancing allows you to work anywhere in the world, part-time work still often restricts you to an office location.
