One benefit in particular that has many turned to freelancing is the ability to control how much and how you get paid. However, many freelancers have been facing a conundrum when trying to decide how to charge their services. Is hourly or fixed rate better for freelancers?

Wondered about a career as a caregiver? Being a freelance caregiver can be a fulfilling career as it offers flexibility, freedom, and control over your work-life balance.

Come freelance with us!

It seems like there's been an ongoing debate about whether fixed or hourly rate is better when pursuing your freelancing career. Our research shows us that some freelancers prefer charging a fixed rate because they believe that "when you are getting paid for complete work and not for being 'on the clock', the experience is quite different for both you and the client", whilst others feel that a freelancer's income is more or less guaranteed "when you are billed by your time as you control the rate".
