“I got 50% back when I renewed my BCLS cert with CaregiverAsia.”

Want to renew your nursing certificate? Renew it with CaregiverAsia and get 50% cashback, plus nursing job opportunities!

Rachel Sim furthered her studies in nursing after enrolling as a nurse for two years. For those of you who want to be a nurse, you have to renew your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate after two years of enrollment.

Rachel took up the opportunity CaregiverAsia provided when she saw their nursing rebate advertisement: “I’m really glad I heard about this campaign. I got back half of what I paid for my certificate and even earned extra cash while working with CaregiverAsia!”

“When I finished my studies to become a registered nurse, my BCLS cert expired, so I had to renew it.” The process is simple. All she had to do is apply for her renewal through CaregiverAsia’s designated provider, work for minimum number of hours and provide her receipt to receive 50% rebate.

CaregiverAsia also provides reimbursement for other certificates. If you are looking to renew nursing certificates such as Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), or Theory certificate, you can also get 50% cashback.

“I think it’s a good deal. After getting the certificate, I had to work some hours under them, which was good exposure and experience,” the 23-year-old nurse said. Rachel shared that in order to work in a hospital setting, the BCLS certificate is a must-have. "Some private home nursing cases may also require you to have the BCLS and CPR," she added, "CPR especially, is good to have regardless of your caregiving profession. If you are a caregiver who is looking after a client, knowledge in CPR may come in handy one day." Rachel was delighted to know that she could also renew her AED and CPR certificates through CaregiverAsia while enjoying the 50% rebate.

Rachel felt she got to earn her own keeping after renewing her certificate under CaregiverAsia. On top of that, the jobs offered by CaregiverAsia helped Rachel build her confidence and gave her some exposure to nursing.
