Just like most elderly patients with mobility issues, Madam Ho wasn’t able to conveniently travel to get therapy. She had walking difficulties due to a tumor that imparted her balance. Madam Ho’s daughter decided to engage a Physiotherapist as per the doctor’s advice. “The doctor has advised us that physiotherapy will help to maintain and slow down my mother’s condition,” she said.

Madam Ho’s daughter commented: “I am thankful that Physiotherapist, Ms. Yong Limin, visits my mother almost every week for an hour since September 2016 and she would also not hesitate to come by on Saturday evening if we request for her to do so.”

Madam Ho’s family was not only pleased with the Physiotherapist’s calm and supportive nature, but they were also amazed that she “tailored individualized physiotherapy exercises” for her elderly mother, as well as always encouraging her to continue with her physical activities. “Limin even takes the effort to teach my helper and me the exercises as well so that we can assist my mother in her daily exercises. My mother thoroughly enjoys all her physiotherapy sessions with Limin,” she explained.
