Bringing you Caregiving Stories from the CaregiverAsia Community

Securing Care With eNETS

Payment just got easier on our platform.  Careseekers and Caregivers can now make real-time payments by scanning a QR code using their mobile phone (via eNETS QR) or directly from their bank account via eNETS direct debit. Apart from eNETS QR and eNETS direct debit, customers on CaregiverAsia’s platform can also pay for services via credit cards and bank transfers.

With eNETS QR and direct debit being introduced on our platform, CaregiverAsia will give that added convenience to our customers.

We want to give our customers as many payment options as possible in order to make transactions online and offline as convenient and as secure as possible. NETS, being the leading Singapore’s leading payment solutions provider, will give that added convenience to our customers.

There has been a lot of mention about freelancing and there is still a misperception that freelancing is either not viable as a career or it is usually done when someone has no choice.  This is not true.  Freelancing is increasingly becoming a career of choice especially for those who want a work-life balance as well as those who have commitments but have time to spare to earn extra cash.

For example, we have seen many nurses who have left the system to either take care of their children, or for other reasons, coming back to be freelance nurses with us. Why? This is because they have the spare time and they still love nursing without the paperwork or bureaucracy.  Read this article on how freelancing is great for nurses with families.

The reality of the increasing numbers of freelancers has been recognised by the Singapore Government and that is why it announced “that all seven recommendations by the Tripartite Workgroup (TWG) will be accepted and implemented”.  Our CEO was quoted in this article to show our support for these recommendations.
