We are so happy to have a new Chief Operating Officer join us at CaregiverAsia! He is Tan Boon Heon, an individual with amazing credentials, and has brought with him an immense amount of experience in the healthcare field. Boon has commercialised and managed brands and operations across diverse therapeutic areas and ecosystems, in the United States, China and Singapore.
Boon has over 20 years of global experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with the last appointment being the Managing Director and Head of UCB Pharma's Asia Pacific Rim & India Area Operations. He holds Bachelors and Masters of Science in Engineering (Bioengineering) degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD in Business (General Management) from Singapore Management University.
Boon is an avid believer in continuous learning. He strongly believes in nurturing and growing talent and lives by his personal adage: if you want to shine, surround yourself with stars. We are confident that with his experience, he will energise the team to newer heights in ultimately do what we do best – delivering on-demand healthcare to Careseekers and freelancing opportunities to Caregivers in the new gig economy.
